Wargrum - Cardano Trading Card Game with Big Plans You Dont Want To Miss!

I've been an avid TCG gamer since I was in my teens. Magic the Gathering (otherwise known as Money The Gathering, L5R, Flesh and Blood, WOW TCG now Hearthstone. I loved them all. I still have a solid collection of cards in the garage.

I've always wanted to create a TCG and then I got into crypto and thought, I want a TCG on Cardano! Hence, Wargrum.

Wargrum is a TCG about the fight between AI and the Survivors of AI.

Wargrum is currently in alpha test and development. You can play for free right now, without buying any booster packs. There are two free decks built in. Nothing fancy, but you'll learn how the game works. No mana cards, just playable cards. You can use any of them as a resource as needed. No mana locks. If you like where we are heading with the game, you can mint booster packs. Each booster pack is 60 ADA and contains 6 cards. There are only 5,000 of this limited booster pack available and their primary purpose is to help us finish the development of Wargrum into the full retail ready game we've setup to build.

Right now, you can play the game for free in your web browser, on an ipad, etc. You can play against others online. You can build your own custom decks using cards in your NFT collection. There are approx 93 cards in the alpha set with a total of 240+ cards in the total first set. We will be adding cards as we can based on booster sales and our ability to cover dev expenses. Each card needs its mechanics added to the game before it can be made available to be minted.

Once that phase is complete and all 240+ cards have been added, along with any bugs, fixes or changes necessary along the way, our goal is to implement the following:

#1. Bigger, better animations in battles for card effects and other conditions.

#2. Land Wars - There will be an interactive map broken into zones. Players will compete for control of these zones and control of a zone means receiving resources after certain milestones have been met. You have to defend your zone X number of times to merit resources. Losing means control is changed to another player. If you generate resources, you will be able to combine these resources into new legendary items and gear to be used in your decks. They will be very sought after and this is where deck building will be very important. Combos and strategies will be your path to control.

#3. Once land wars are in game, we have the first set, all bugs, polish and an exciting array of visual effects and audio effects, we will consider Wagrum in its Version 1.0 Retail Launch Phase.

#4. In Retail Launch, our goal is to plan major tournaments among players for valuable prizes.

#5. We begin the launch of the 2nd official set. Each new set will include new Commanders, Items, Gear,. Missions, Troops, Spells and Abilities, etc and be somewhere around 250 cards per set. Once we are in retail our goal is to launch a new set each quarter. If not, 2 new sets per year.

We have a great many things planned as surprises over time as things build momentum. This is a passion project with some great people on board including Eli Skenandore who is the lead Architect for the NFL Fantasy Football 2.0. JP Steinmetz, an advisor for Wargrum with previous notables to include Xcom 2, The Evil Within, Lost Planet 3 and Hawken. Crypto Face, early investor, TCG fan and overall friend of the project and of course yours truly. Overall, we have a long way to go but support has been amazing thus far and the Wargrum community on Discord have been having a great time and have been wonderful providing their feedback.
