I have been part of the Cardano ecosystem since 2017. I've been an educator, a builder, a staking node operator, an advisor and more. As a DREP in Cardano's Decentralized Governance model, I am effectively a Governor of a country. I am a representative of a collective of ADA holders that trust me to act with their best interest at heart as investors. I think of myself as a compliance officer as much as an investor.

With the first round of Treasury Withdrawals up for vote, I've been swarmed with emails, messages and DM's from all walks of Cardano Ecosystem asking me for my support for their proposals to obtain effectively millions of dollars. With this being the first round, I've been a bit more liberal in my Yes votes for a few reasons:

a. We need more builders, Dapps and use cases to bring in new users and to achieve that, we have to invest in those wanting to invest in Cardano with their time, expertise and ideas.

b. This is the first round/wave of funding and I want to see who takes the funding and is accountable for it, achieves what they set out to achieve and what lessons can be learned from how everything works out.

There are near countless proposals for Treasury funding on various levels of acceptance. It takes a lot of time to read through, research and make a decision on these proposals. I personally believe that Information voting should be done in a more centralized way to filter the nonsense before rising up the chain for more specialized voting towards next levels.

Being a Top 10 Drep in the Cardano Ecosystem means getting swarmed by hopefuls trying to encourage your voting. Everyone has their hands out with no real method for being held accountable.

If you are a company that sets off to launch a financial services company, you must hire a Compliance Officer to basically make sure you are doing what you need to be doing and you must pay these compliance officers out of pocket. The Government doesn't supply them. If you are a fight promoter, you have to pay commission fees, judges, commissioners, etc to ultimately make sure you aren't breaking laws or rules. The point is, companies must pay for their own accountability or they dont stay in business.

Advisory

I have voted yes on the majority of funding requests for this round as explained above, however, I'm confident that the majority of those funded will be back for more and I want to be part of their circles as an advisor.

I want to be able to review reports on progress and know that those funded are working in the right direction and play a role in ensuring they are in fact making strong progress with what they set out to do.

Being a Top Drep means a lot of work and a lot of demand for my time. I love playing such a role in this decentralized ecosystem I've loved since launch, but as demand grows, I have a choice. I can either do things the right way and help projects that perform ensure momentum while getting rid of projects that just absorb funds and do nothing which involved a great deal of time and effort, or, I can just accept everything at face value and roll the dice with every vote based solely on whatever their social media accounts tell the world.

Q: Does acquiring Crypto Crow as an Advisor guarantee Yes votes for future proposals?

A: Absolutely not. As a Drep, I can't be bought. #1. I'm also a large holder of ADA. When ADA does well, I do well. I'm not here to be "bribed", I'm offering this service as a means of making sure you are good for the ecosystem. I will never vote Yes for proposals of projects that are scammy, cashgrabs, inept, etc. I want everyone to do well and my loyalty is to the ecosystem and the ADA holders first, myself being one of them.

Q: Does acquiring Crypto Crow as an Advisor guarantee coverage on your Youtube Channel?

A: No, I wont guarantee anything of that sort. Is it more likely? Yes, because of course if I'm putting in the time to work with your project or team, I'm going to have plenty to cover on my channel but my role isn't as an extension of your marketing team.

Q: So, you dont guarantee anything? Whats the benefit for us?

A: Having Crypto Crow as an advisor isn't about marketing your project, its about making sure you're a company with integrity and working towards the best utilization of the acquired funds from the Cardano Treasury so that he is well informed as to the merit of your future requests. There are of course many benefits associated with having Crow as an advisor, but guaranteed votes on future proposals isn't one of them.

Q: What is Crypto Crow's Actual Background Outside Of Youtube?

A: Crow started in his first business out of High School which he sold at 21. He later began in the music business by booking bands for shows, then into management and finally launched his own vanity label where he took bands from their garage to national tours, national video and radio rotation with national record distribution.

After that, he got into Mixed Martial Arts. He was borderline diabetic so he joined an MMA Fight Team. Went from 305lbs to 270lbs in 4 months and founded the MMA Big Show. The regions largest Pro/AM MMA Fight Promotion and firs to live broadcast nationally on DirecTV. MMA Big Show had a regional CW TV series and was known for pitting top up and comers against UFC veterans in Casino's and Small Arenas.

From there, Crow got into the mortgage industry where he passed his NMLS Exam and quickly became one of the top Loan Officers in his branch. He then pivoted to becoming a new branch's Director Of Business Development where he helped take the branch from doors open to a Top 10 Branch in the country inside of 6 months. Later, after breaking new records, he left to become an independent consultant and worked with various mortgage branch offices. Hiring Loan Officers, Training them, letting some go, marketing and more. He took a branch from being a refinance shop dialing for dialers on non exclusive leads to doubling the branch's volume in the purchase market. He was then offered a job as the VP of Sales and Marketing for a National Mortgage Lender, but within a few months of that transition he discovered crypto.
