Cardano vs Ethereum

An interesting look at Cardano against Ethereum leading into the 2021 Peak starting 305 days from the peak. Cardano rose over 400% against ETH while ETH was rising against USD. This was before Cardano was even finished as smart contracts launched right about the peak. I wonder how it does this cycle after the Change Hard Fork, Hydra, Plutus upgrades and everything else?

I saw a video recently with Emurgo saying they have many major announcements coming related to Cardano liquidity, Stablecoins and more so should start getting exciting soon.

CME Future Gap Filled

The CME Bitcoin Futures gap has been filled, so I can see a little bit of a pull back before we spring up again. I am hoping for a bullish August with Cardano potentially leading the pack but everything is so wonky right now in the world there is no true telling yet.

According to Pooltool.io 70% of Cardano staking nodes are now at the 70% threshold to kick of the Chang Hard fork. Other on chain data sites say we are close but not quite there yet. This is some of what the Change Hard Fork will be changing:

Here are the key changes that are expected with the Chang hard fork:

1. Input Endorsers: This feature aims to improve block propagation times and increase the blockchain's throughput. It separates transaction collection from block creation, potentially allowing for faster and more efficient block production.
2. Plutus V3: An upgrade to Cardano's smart contract platform, Plutus, introducing new features and optimizations to enhance developer experience and smart contract functionality.
3. SECP256k1 Support: This cryptographic curve implementation was planned to be added, improving interoperability with other blockchain networks, particularly Bitcoin.
4. Ouroboros Genesis: An upgrade to Cardano's consensus protocol, designed to enhance security and allow for more flexible stake pool operation.
5. Mithril: A stake-based threshold multi-signature scheme, aimed at improving the efficiency of node synchronization and light client protocols.
6. Performance Improvements: Various optimizations to enhance overall network performance, including improvements to memory usage and transaction processing.
7. Governance Updates: Potential changes to Cardano's on-chain governance system, although specific details might have varied based on community feedback and development progress.

These changes are intended to improve Cardano's scalability, interoperability, and overall performance. Chang will also unlock the Cardano Treasury of over 1.5 Billion ADA which will be put to use in various ways through community voting.
